Booking Terms & Conditions

**Please read these terms and conditions carefully as these conditions incorporate the basis on which bookings for Hideaway Vacations are accepted. Failure to abide by these Terms and Conditions permits the owner or the manager to refuse the key, amend the rental or apply additional charges and/or terminate the occupancy.**

1. Booking/Reservation:

1.1 Bookings can be made via email info@hideawayvacations.com or by calling 626-261-2090. All guests are thoroughly verified prior to checking in. A reservation is confirmed once the Guest has paid the required deposit or full rental amount, and the Owner/Manager has provided written confirmation of the booking.

2.Payment:

2.1 The Guest agrees to pay the total rental amount as specified in the booking agreement. Payment can be made via the provided payment methods. Failure to make timely payments may result in the cancellation of the reservation.

3.Cancellation and Refunds:

3.1. Cancellation Policy: The Guest acknowledges and accepts the cancellation policy specified in the booking agreement. Cancellation fees may apply.

3.2. Refunds: Refunds will be processed in accordance with the cancellation policy. No refunds will be provided for early departures or unused portions of the rental period.

4.Check-In and Check-Out:

4.1. Check-In: Check-in time is typically [4:00 PM]. Early check-in may be possible with prior arrangement.

4.2. Check-Out: Check-out time is typically [10:00 AM]. Late check-out may be possible with prior arrangement.

5.Security Deposit:

5.1. Security Deposit: A security deposit may be required as specified in the booking agreement. This deposit will be refunded within 10 days  after the check-out date, less any deductions for damages or additional charges.

6.House Rules:

6.1. Occupancy: The maximum occupancy of the Property is as specified in the booking agreement. Exceeding this limit may result in eviction without refund.

6.2. Pets: Pets are not allowed on the Property unless otherwise specified in the booking agreement.

6.3. No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the Property. Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas.

7.Maintenance and Cleanliness:

7.1. Maintenance: The Guest agrees to keep the Property and all furnishings in good order. Any damage or maintenance issues must be reported to the Owner/Manager immediately.

7.2. Cleanliness: The Guest agrees to leave the Property in a reasonably clean and tidy condition. Excessive cleaning or damage may result in additional charges.

8.Liability and Insurance:

8.1. Liability: The Guest acknowledges that the Owner/Manager is not responsible for accidents, injuries, or loss of personal belongings during the stay. It is recommended that the Guest obtains travel insurance.

9.Termination:

9.1. Termination: The Owner/Manager reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement and evict the Guest if they violate these Terms and Conditions or engage in any illegal activities on the Property.

10.Governing Law:

10.1. Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Jurisdiction], and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [Jurisdiction].

By booking the Property, the Guest acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Vacation Home Rental General Terms and Conditions.
